What's actually inside a 30G syringe.

30G is the bridge between standard insulin pen needles and the finer 31G gauges. It is the most widely stocked gauge in EU diabetes pharmacies and the default for adults on insulin pen therapy.

A 30G hypodermic syringe is precision hardware. Eleven distinct components, each manufactured to ISO tolerances, working together to deliver a measured volume into a specific tissue plane. Understanding what each part does makes the difference between a confident self-injector and a hesitant one.
